Got a...got a, you know...a drawing! It's a chase scene in pencil I drew years ago. Tell me what you think, if you would. [link]

Anchiceratops did have quite a long neck; you were perfectly correct on that, and it gives an elegance to the creature otherwise impossible. I'd make it more muscular, but that's my opinion. What you've done with the ceratopsian looks fine.

The Albertosaurus, the way you've drawn him is a Daspletosaurus. Albertosaurus sarcophagus and Gorgosaurus libratus had comparatively long and slender necks compared to either Daspletosaurus and Tyrannosaurus and Tarbosaurus. The albertosaurs were like wolves, rather than bears. The body here is fine, the head is about a sixth too long (you are not far off!!!) and a quarter too deep, from what I can tell from the skeletons. Albertosaurus was not a pygmy T-rex. Just my thoughts; you're certainly doing a fine job and I have an idea I'm going to love the drawing.

Your Torvosaurus head is the finest representation of its head I've ever see, so I know you have it in you. And yes, I look at a LOT of art, dinosaurs especially. DON"T be afraid to use your eraser or make changes to improve your picture. :jarksaber:

"I worked too hard on that to change it." is one of the greatest enemies/thoughts you can have. Only a customer deadline looming like an axe over your head should ever have you thinking that.

Chew on that for a while longer. :chew:

And yes, the great GSP gets some proportions dead wrong in some of his restorations, as well as having some strange perspectives. He has a beauty of an error in his famous Giraffatitan herd. I love the pic, but one basic error has stayed with it from version one. See if you can find it. And no, I'n not talking about thick necks, the neckbones showing (though I disagree with that!) nor the postures nor the spines (which I think they had) nor anything to do with their basic anatomy.
